Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of Maharashtra during next 2-3 days. A cyclonic circulation lies over northern parts of Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining areas. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast. Light to moderate rain, with isolated heavy spells, is expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, and Coastal Karnataka. This weather pattern is likely to continue for the next 3 to 4 days. Light to moderate rain is possible over Northeast India, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and North Interior Karnataka. Light rain is likely over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, while West Bengal may experience light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy spells. The weather is expected to remain mostly clear across northern parts of India.
