Extremely Heavy Rains to Soak Odisha, and West Bengal
DANA over central & adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards. It is very likely to move northwestwards and cross north Odisha and West Bengal coasts between Puri and Sagar Island close to Bhitarkanika and Dhamara (Odisha) by today night and tomorrow morning. Under its influence, moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds are anticipated along the Odisha and West Bengal coasts, the intensity of rain will increase after 24 hours over these areas and there may be heavy to very heavy rain. Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells is possible over Assam, Southern Bihar and southern Jharkhand. Scattered light to moderate rain Madhya Pradesh, and North Chhattisgarh. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and South Karnataka. The weather will remain clear in all the states of North India, this storm will not affect anywhere in North India. The next rainy season in North India may come around 5th of Nov due to the arrival of Western Disturbance.
