Rainy Days Ahead for Tamil Nadu and Kerala; North India Braces for Dense Fog.
A cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal is intensifying, and a low-pressure area is expected to form there within the next 36 hours. This system is then likely to move slowly westward toward the Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka coasts over the following two days. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by few heavy spells, thunderstorms, and lightning, is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala over the next 2-3 days. Coastal Andhra Pradesh South Interior Karnataka may also experience light rainfall. Dense fog conditions very likely to prevail in night and morning hours in isolated pockets of west Punjab and northwest Rajasthan during next 2 days. Dry conditions are expected to prevail across most parts of the country. There had been slight rise in maximum temperature and no significance change in minimum temperature over Delhi. The Maximum and Minimum temperatures over Delhi were in the range of 30-33°C and 14 -20°C respectively. The Maximum temperatures was above normal by 1 – 3°C and Minimum temperature was above normal by 4 -5°C over some places in the region.
