Maize Report
Looking at the current market conditions for maize, production and quality have both increased this year in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. Due to higher ethanol demand, maize prices in producer markets have risen by up to ₹300. In Haryana and Punjab, the prices for maize from MP and Rajasthan, based on quality, range between ₹2,450 and ₹2,600 per quintal. Currently, in producer markets, maize is selling between ₹2,225 and ₹2,300 per quintal, while in warehouses, it is trading between ₹2,300 and ₹2,350 per quintal. Given the rising market, stockists have become active, and there is potential for further price increases. However, it would be wise to consider selling at these prices, as fluctuations are likely in the coming period.
